I'm just letting you know, in case you didn't know, that is extremely rude. You're coming off as if I shouldn't cosplay Supergirl because you've deemed me too skinny.
Cosplay is about expressing a love for a character, which is what I'm trying to do. I am no artist, nor am I a writer, so I'm expressing the love the only way I know how: cosplaying. And now you're making it seem like I'm not even allowed to do that because I don't fit the body type of the character. ... Which is something I actually completely disagree with you on. Supergirl has no set body type. She is muscular, but that is it. With each new artist comes a new way to draw her, which gives her a new and different body type. IF ANYTHING, I'm too big to be Supergirl. She is pure muscle, when I am not. I have fat on my body, when she probably doesn't. She'd weigh a lot more than I do though because of that muscle.
As for dainty? GOOD! I want to look that way, so when I kick people's asses, they be surprised that someone so dainty could take them all. I like surprising people like that~
But you didn't compliment me. You told me I shouldn't be cosplaying a character I love. Who are you to police who cosplays what? Who are you to try and destroy a hobby?
But you're just an immature troll, of whom I tried to be civil with and explain to you how your comment is actually really rude. Instead of being polite and taking this as a lesson learned, you label me as a bitch who can't take a compliment, which you never gave me in the first place, because as I've said countless time, YOU TOLD ME I SHOULDN'T COSPLAY A CHARACTER I LOVE, which is an INSULT. You insulted me, and decide to blame it on me, taking the immature route in all of this.
You accuse me of not being able to take a compliment? Well, I'm telling you, you do not know how to compliment someone.
Point is, cosplay is something people put a lot of time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears into making just right so they can honor their favorite character. So someone saying "you're too [X] to be [Y]!" is a slap in the face to all the hard work a cosplayer put into their outfit. And my friend here works herself to the bone making all the outfits she wears for these characters, so she can really do without comments on her weight and body. Show a little respect.
